龍安寺での観光を楽しんだ後に、少し足を伸ばして「西源院」の湯豆腐を味わうのは私にとって最高の癒しタイムとなりました。実はこのお店、拝観料もかからずに入れるのが大きな魅力。入口で「食事利用」と伝えさえすれば、順路の逆方向へ数分歩くだけで、落ち着いた雰囲気の隠れ家のような空間に辿り着きます。 西源院の湯豆腐は、ぐつぐつと煮立つ音を聞きながらいただくことで、より一層味わい深く感じら れます。特製のシンプルなタレが豆腐の旨味を引き立て、何度でもおかわりしたくなるほど。桜の季節には窓際の席から美しい庭園の眺めも楽しめ、四季折々の風景が気持ちを豊かにしてくれます。 また、精進料理セットと合わせたランチは、見た目にも美しく飽きのこない味付けで、身体にも優しく満足感がありました。ポイントは予約ができること。電話で庭ビューの窓際席を確保すると、静かな空間で自分だけの特別な時間を過ごせるのでおすすめです。 私自身も何度か訪れていますが、京都観光の定番スポットを巡るだけでは味わいきれない、心からリラックスできる非日常感を感じられます。特に春の桜の時期は絶好のタイミングで、ぜひ訪れてほしいスポットです。季節ごとに変わる庭の風景と共に、京都の伝統的な湯豆腐グルメを堪能してください。
