Flamingos are one of my biggest recent obsessions in terms of animals in addition to ferrets and stoats! Why you may ask? Because they're PINK 🩷!
I have two plushies- a small one named Pedro and a big one named Prometheus, both of which serve as dorm ESAs (Emergency Stuffed Animals).
As for the original illustration in the first slide, I drew an enigmatic piece the day I was very sleep deprived, and I figured to exaggerate the effect, I could draw a giant flamingo at the end of the winding road. And there you go!

Known for their distinctive pink feathers, these birds owe their color to carotenoid pigments in their diet, primarily from the algae and crustaceans they consume. In addition, they are excellent foragers, using their unique beaks to sift through mud and water for food. Their nesting habits, which involve building mud mounds in shallow water, showcase their adaptability to different environments. Artistic expressions, like illustrations and plush toys, highlight a cultural fascination with these birds. As symbols of beauty and whimsy, flamingos continue to inspire art, fashion, and decor, making them irresistible to enthusiasts worldwide.
