#CapCut Gods love never fails. When people look at us, they should be able to see Christ love through us. #christians #christiantok #Godlove #christianwomen #becomingthewomaniaspiretobe #growthjourney #healingjourney
Building on what I shared about living out God's love, I wanted to dive a little deeper into what this journey truly means for me, especially when faced with life's complexities. My pastor's message really resonated, emphasizing that our faith isn't just about what we say we believe, but how we actually *live*. It’s about being a reflection of Christ's love in every interaction, every choice. Sometimes, it feels like the world tries to pull us away from that path, right? There are moments of frustration, anger, or even the temptation to hold onto resentment when someone wrongs us. But then I remember the profound truth that 'God's love never fails.' This isn't just a comforting phrase; it's a powerful anchor. It reminds me that even when I stumble or fall short, His grace is always there, pushing me toward a more loving and forgiving heart. For me, living 'Christ-like' isn't about perfection – goodness knows I'm far from it! Instead, it's a daily, conscious effort to embody the teachings of Jesus. What does that look like in practice? It means actively choosing kindness in my 'actions,' thinking before I speak to ensure my 'words' uplift rather than diminish, and being mindful of my overall 'behaviors' so that I 'make others feel' truly valued and seen. It's challenging, absolutely, but incredibly rewarding. One huge part of this has been my personal 'healing journey.' The OCR content mentioned how hard it is to hold onto anger or 'resentment' if you're trying to show God's love. This hit home. If 'Jesus died on the cross for our sins,' offering ultimate forgiveness, then how can I possibly justify holding a grudge against someone else? It’s a powerful question that constantly leads me back to a place of grace. Releasing that resentment isn't just for the other person; it's a profound act of self-care, freeing my own spirit and allowing God's peace to truly settle within me. This 'becoming her' series is all about growing into the best version of ourselves, guided by divine love. It's about letting go of what doesn't serve us and embracing the transformative power of a faith-filled life. When we genuinely strive to live this way, we become beacons of hope, showing others what God's love looks like through our own imperfect yet earnest efforts. What are some ways you try to reflect Christ's love in your daily life? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
