I knockout before the plane take off😭
I always find myself knocking out as soon as I get to my seat, even before the plane takes off. At first, I thought it was just me being extremely tired, but over time, I realized it might be a combination of factors like pre-flight stress, the soothing hum of the aircraft, and the anticipation of settling in for a long flight. Many travelers experience a similar feeling where the moment they buckle up, they feel an overwhelming need to rest. This can actually be beneficial, helping to conserve energy and reduce anxiety associated with flying. From my experience, having a comfortable neck pillow and noise-cancelling headphones greatly enhances this early sleepiness, blocking out distractions and creating a mini sanctuary in the cabin. However, it’s important to balance this tendency to fall asleep early with staying alert during safety instructions and takeoff procedures. I make it a point to stay awake till we reach cruising altitude before deeply relaxing. If you often knock out before takeoff like me, I recommend practicing some light stretching or deep breathing exercises in your seat to keep your circulation flowing. Also, staying hydrated and avoiding heavy meals right before the flight can contribute to feeling less lethargic. Overall, embracing this natural fatigue and preparing your body for restful sleep can turn what feels like a vulnerability into a travel advantage. It’s always interesting to hear how others manage their pre-takeoff tiredness, and sharing these personal experiences helps us all find comfort in the skies.
