As an avid reader and member of the BookTok community, I recently picked up 'The Right Move,' the second installment in Liz Tomforde's Windy City Series, and it truly lived up to the buzz. This book combines relatable characters with a plot that captivates from the first page. The author’s ability to weave humor with heartfelt moments makes it a standout read. Joining the journey in this book felt like reconnecting with old friends, navigating life’s twists and turns right alongside them. The Chicago backdrop adds an authentic touch, perfectly setting the stage for the story. I found myself eagerly turning pages, thrilled to be on the inside of all the emotional highs and lows. For anyone hesitant about diving into this series, start here and see why BookTok has embraced it. It’s an excellent choice whether you love contemporary fiction or stories that explore personal growth and relationships. After finishing, I was already looking forward to the next book, confirming that picking up 'The Right Move' was indeed the right move for my reading list this year.
