As someone who loves a good refreshing drink, especially during warmer months, finding delicious non-alcoholic options is key. This particular recipe is not just festive—it’s packed with goodness and super easy to throw together, making it perfect for any summer gathering or simply as a treat for yourself. What I love most about this red, white & blue mocktail is how it perfectly balances flavor with health benefits. Let me walk you through how I make it, and why each ingredient plays a special role. First, let's talk about the vibrant layers. To get that beautiful red at the bottom, I start by adding a splash of grenadine to my cup before anything else. This creates a sweet base and gives that characteristic red hue. Then, it's time for the ice. Lots of it! For the 'white' and super hydrating layer, I prepared a mix of peeled lemon and coconut water. Yes, you heard that right – peel one whole lemon and blend it directly with some coconut water. This might sound unconventional, but trust me, it creates an incredibly refreshing and slightly tangy base. Coconut water is a powerhouse of electrolytes like potassium and magnesium, making it fantastic for hydration, especially for busy nursing moms like myself who need that extra boost. Lemons are also incredible; they're packed with vitamin C, aid digestion, and give your immune system a natural boost. A little natural sweetener goes a long way here; I used maple syrup because it's a natural sweetener with beneficial trace minerals like zinc and manganese. Finally, for the show-stopping blue layer, I turned to blue spirulina. This ingredient isn't just for color; Blue Spirulina is a powerful antioxidant that supports energy and reduces oxidative stress. I simply mixed a small amount into a separate portion of the lemon-coconut water blend to get that stunning blue. Gently pouring this over the ice and the red grenadine layer creates the gorgeous tri-color effect. The trick is to pour slowly over the back of a spoon to keep the layers distinct. This red, white & blue mocktail isn't just for Happy Memorial Day or the Fourth of July; it’s a brilliant option for any time you want a celebratory, healthy, and non-alcoholic drink. It’s been a definite hit with my friends and family. You can also garnish it with fresh berries like sliced strawberries and blueberries to enhance the patriotic theme and add extra bursts of flavor. Sometimes, I even freeze berries into ice cubes for an extra special touch! If you're looking for an easy red, white & blue drink non-alcoholic recipe that’s both delicious and beneficial, you absolutely have to try this. It’s incredibly satisfying to sip on something so pretty and know you’re nourishing your body at the same time. Cheers to delicious and vibrant hydration!

Would you happen to have any ideas with no coconut? I have a friend who is deathly allergic to ANYTHING coconut and I haven’t been able to find ANY pregnancy friendly hydration drinks that don’t include coconut water or something coconut related😭😭😭.
