TODOBAKU SILLY SELFIES
Sharing some silly pics of me (Todoroki) and @El🕊 (Bakugo) from last year that we forgot about 😆 we were feeling very chaotic, LOL 🤣
OMG, rediscovering these Todobaku cosplay photos from last year got me thinking about all the fun we had! Cosplaying with a friend as a duo like Todoroki and Bakugo from My Hero Academia is seriously one of the best experiences. It’s not just about getting the costumes right, but really bringing out their chaotic energy and dynamic. For these shots, we were specifically aiming for goofy ahh duo poses, and let me tell you, it was a blast! When planning a silly photoshoot like this, communication is key. We spent some time discussing what kind of playful interactions would feel authentic to their characters, even in a comedic light. For instance, we tried out silly hand-on-chin gestures in one of the sets, which always gets a laugh. Another favorite was making playful faces at the camera – sometimes just a simple smirk, other times going all out with exaggerated expressions. We even incorporated pointing to their chins with one finger in one of our selfies, trying to mimic a classic playful pose. Cosplaying Bakugo, my friend really worked on capturing his explosive personality, even in a silly context. It's all about that confident, slightly arrogant vibe. And for Todoroki, it's about his more reserved but still impactful presence. It's amazing how much character comes through just in body language and facial expressions. For anyone looking to cosplay Bakugo or Todoroki, I'd highly recommend studying their common stances and expressions. Even small details, like how they hold their hands or tilt their heads, can make a huge difference. We also played around with more dynamic poses. There’s one where we were almost embracing, but in a very chaotic, almost reluctant way, which felt so Todobaku! And of course, there was that infamous moment where one of us made a rude hand gesture towards the camera – totally in character for a certain hot-headed blonde! The key is to not take yourselves too seriously and just have fun with it. Some of the best shots come from those unscripted, laughing moments between takes. If you're thinking of trying todobaku cosplay, or any MHA duo, here are a few tips: Embrace the Chaos: Don't be afraid to be a little messy or unrefined in your poses. Sometimes the most natural and funniest shots come from just letting loose. Character Study: Watch clips, read manga panels, and really get a feel for how your characters interact. What are their quirks? How do they express affection, annoyance, or amusement? Prop It Up: Even simple props can add to the fun. We didn't use many here, but even a prop phone for selfies can spark new pose ideas. Behind-the-Scenes Fun: Capture those candid moments! The laughing and goofing around between shots often make for the best memories and sometimes the best content. Comfort is Key: You'll be moving and posing a lot, so make sure your costume is comfortable enough to allow for a range of motion. Cosplaying isn't just about looking the part; it's about embodying the spirit of the characters and having an amazing time with friends. These silly selfies are a perfect reminder of that! Hope this inspires some of you to try out your own goofy ahh duo poses with your cosplay buddies!
