So Greatful

1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4 NIV

[1] Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.

[3] For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, [4] that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

What stands out most to me is the assurance that salvation is a free gift, not something we can earn by works or following the law. Romans 6:23 and Ephesians 2:8-9 reinforce that grace is God’s gift through Jesus Christ, which means that no matter how imperfect we feel, accepting Him through faith secures us eternal life. I personally find comfort in knowing that redemption came through Christ’s blood—His death on the cross pays the full price for our sins. The message that "Christ finished the work" by His death, burial, and resurrection is powerful. It assures us that our faith is built on a completed foundation, not on incomplete efforts. Moreover, understanding that justification comes by faith alone (as highlighted in Romans 3:28 and Galatians 2:16) frees me from the pressure of striving to earn God's favor. This has truly transformed how I approach daily challenges, knowing I am accepted fully because of His mercy and grace. Lastly, the promise that eternal life is secure for those who trust the gospel (Ephesians 1:13; Romans 8:38-39) deeply encourages me. When facing life’s uncertainties, I hold on to the confidence that nothing can separate me from God’s love. This gospel message is not just historical but alive and active in empowering believers to live in hope and gratitude every day.
