One thing about me is that I love a romance that follows a single dad. The single parents (plural) troupe though? Even better. This book was so sweet and not only highlighted the struggles of being a single parent, but the struggles of learning to find yourself again after being held back by a partner for so long. This book really highlights the importance of loving someone as they are, and how the simple act of not trying to change someone can mean the world. Ava is such a bad ass and I absolutely love that she can still fully embrace her wild side while simultaneously showing up for her daughter and killing it as a single parent. I think that is so important for woman to see and shows that being a mom doesn’t mean you have to change who you are. Sawyer is truly a top tier man, he cooks AND he cleans? Without having to be asked? This truly highlights how much of a difference having a parter who treats you as an equal in everything can make and how important it is to not settle for less. This book is funny, adorable, incredibly steamy, and proves that even parents need the freedom to embrace their wild sides.
