Wow, just wow. I have to say reading about the older Rivers brothers, I found it hard to believe that one of the youngest brothers could reach that same level of emotional maturity and intelligence, but boy was I wrong. Duke is any woman’s dream, who wouldn’t want a cowboy taking care of your every need (emotionally and physically)? I really felt for my girl Wheeler in this one, the hesitation to jump in with both feet because of fear of being unworthy and too emotional for a man holding you back? I’m sure so many women out there can relate to those feelings, and hopefully this book can show you the right man will love all your over dramatic emotions, and I loved Wheeler’s journey to accepting herself rather than changing herself (with the help of a hot cowboy of course). I can be a little hesitant on the pregnancy troupe, but the character growth that came from it really shows that if it’s written well it can be an amazing troupe. This book is hot, real, and proves that freedom and adventure can take many different forms!
