Skincare routine for dry skin 🤍
Here’s my current skincare routine for someone with dry skin!
🧴La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser
I love this brand—they have some of the most affordable yet high-quality products. Their cleansers are perfect for dry skin. This one leaves my skin feeling hydrated and clean. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin types, and it’s not the best for removing makeup.
🧴 Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner
Another absolute fave! I’ve used many products from this brand, but this toner has me obsessed. This is probably my third bottle. I’ve noticed that it brightens my skin, tightens my pores, and doesn’t leave my face feeling dry.
🧴 Hero Pore Release (Blackhead Clearing Solution)
I bought this product because of the hype. For me, I don’t really think it’s removing all of my blackheads—especially on my nose. The product recommends using it once every couple of days, but some reviews suggest using it daily on the nose. Let’s see if that makes a difference!
🧴 The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
Such an affordable and effective product! It layers well with the rest of my routine and is a staple for me. However, I do recommend doing a patch test first—not all of The Ordinary’s products have worked for me, and they might not work for you either.
🧴 Good Molecules Yerba Mate Wake Up Gel
This product was recommended to me, but I honestly don’t see much of a difference. Yes, my under-eyes look better, but I think that’s more due to drinking lots of water and getting good sleep. Right now, it just feels nice on my skin, lol.
🧴 Topicals Faded Serum for Dark Spots
I’m in love with this product! I saw major improvements in my skin tone just weeks after using it daily. The only downside? It stinks—but hey, it’s totally worth it!
🧴 Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizer
I love this moisturizer, but for the price, I’m not sure I’d recommend it. If you can afford it, sure—why not? But I know there are plenty of other amazing moisturizers for less.
🧴 La Roche-Posay Anthelios Sunscreen (SPF 100)
One of my favorite sunscreens! It doesn’t leave a white cast!
Let me know if you’ve used any of these products—what do you think?!

Having a solid skincare routine is essential for those with dry skin, as it helps maintain moisture levels and overall skin health. Among the key steps is cleansing, where a hydrating cleanser like La Roche-Posay's products can prevent the skin from feeling tight and dry after washing. Following up with a toner, such as the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner, can provide additional hydration and help with pore appearance. Another powerful ingredient is Hyaluronic Acid, which The Ordinary offers in their formulation—this potent ingredient can attract moisture to the skin, keeping it plump and hydrated. Moreover, to target specific concerns like dark spots, the Topicals Faded Serum may significantly improve skin tone over time. Moisturizers play a crucial role too; while Caudalie's Vinosource Moisturizer is effective, many alternatives provide great hydration at a lower price. Finally, never underestimate the importance of sunscreen—an essential step like La Roche-Posay’s Anthelios SPF 100 ensures protection from harmful UV rays, preventing further dryness and potential skin damage. Remember to adjust your routine based on your skin's responses and consult dermatological advice when necessary.
