Sometimes we need to pause!
Good morning friends. Happy Thursday.
Have you ever reached the end of the week and felt like you’re completely running on empty? Or maybe Monday starts that way for you. Sometimes the tank runs dry by Wednesday… and some days it feels like you run out of gas before the day is even over.
It happens to all of us. Myself included.
To be completely honest, the last couple weeks have been mentally draining, physically demanding, and emotionally exhausting. Life has a way of stacking things up sometimes.
But here’s the thing… every single morning I get up and do it all again.
Not because it’s easy or because I am some super hero, but because God has blessed me in ways I never expected. He’s given me skills I never imagined having. He’s given me knowledge that allows me to help people who need it. He’s healed my body and given me the strength to do things I never would have believed possible 20 years ago. He continues to grow my heart with kindness, grace, and the ability to forgive.
All of it… because He loves me even when I fall short.
I’m strong and confident because the Lord’s strength lives in me. He brings calm when my heart feels heavy and clears my mind when I need focus.
So if you’re tired, overwhelmed, or feeling a little empty this week… you’re not alone. Take a breath, lean into your faith, and keep going. You will get through this. If you need prayer, I got you!
I’m taking Friday to reset and refill my tank a little myself. Well and to be fully transparent the boys are off and my husband is gone all day! We are not having WWE at the Kirchner household on the first day of Spring Break!
Sometimes even the strongest among us need a moment to pause and refuel.
What helps you reset when life feels overwhelming? A walk, prayer, quiet time, exercise, music? I’d love to hear what helps you recharge.
