Remember that God isn’t asking you to become someone else!

Good morning & Happy Friday! ☀️

As you head into today, remember that God isn’t asking you to become someone else—He’s shaping you into the person He created you to be. Every season has purpose, even the ones that feel slow or unseen. Trust His timing, keep taking the next faithful step, and don’t let someone else’s journey distract you from your own.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” — Ephesians 2:10

Walk confidently today knowing your worth isn’t determined by likes, titles, accomplishments, or comparisons. It is found in Christ alone.

Have a blessed Friday. Keep your eyes on Him, encourage someone today, and if there’s anything I can pray with you about, I’d be honored to pray for you. ❤️

The reminder that "there's no comparison between the sun and the moon; they shine when it's their time" deeply resonated with me. It helped me realize that everyone’s timeline is different, and God has a unique purpose for each of us. I found great comfort in reflecting on Ephesians 2:10, which tells us we are God’s handiwork created for good works. This verse reminded me that I don’t need to imitate others or feel pressured to fit into someone else’s mold. Instead, I can focus on becoming the person God designed me to be. There were seasons in my life that felt slow or unproductive, and I used to get discouraged. But through prayer and seeking God’s guidance, I learned to embrace those quiet times as necessary for my growth. They were times for Him to prepare me for what was ahead, even if I couldn’t see it then. I encourage anyone feeling overwhelmed or distracted by others’ progress to keep your eyes on Him. Take each step with faith, knowing that your worth isn’t measured by social media likes, career titles, or anybody else’s standards—it’s found solely in Christ. When you walk with confidence in the unique purpose God has for you, your light shines brightly in its own season.
