Hi I’m Aly

If you’re reading this, I’m guessing you’re in the motherhood trenches too — and girl, I see you šŸ¤

I’m Aly! I’m a stay-at-home military wife and mom of two sets of twins (yep… four under four šŸ™ƒ). Born and raised in Alaska, now raising babies and dogs in Utah.

I finished college with a nursing degree, but staying home with my babies is the most important thing I’ve ever done. It’s messy, beautiful, and exhausting all at once — and I’m learning to find myself in the middle of it.

Around here, you’ll find real-life mom moments, outdoor adventures, funny chaos, and the honest side of motherhood.

So if you’re a mama who needs someone to cry-laugh with about nap strikes, teething, or the millionth load of laundry — I’m your girl.

... Read moreHey everyone, it's me again! Thanks for stopping by to learn a little more about my life here in Utah. When I first introduced myself, I gave you a peek into my world as a military wife and a mom to four tiny humans. But there's so much more to the beautiful, messy, and often hilarious chaos we navigate daily. Being a mom to two sets of twins – Xander and Griffin, my spirited 3-year-olds, and Eddy and Beverly, our adorable 7-month-old babies – is quite the adventure. Forget quiet mornings; our home is a symphony of toddler giggles, baby babbling, and the occasional sibling squabble! Nap schedules are more like suggestions, and the laundry basket is a bottomless pit, but the snuggles and double smiles make every challenging moment worth it. I'm always looking for ways to keep our little crew entertained, whether it's an outdoor adventure or a crafting session indoors. My journey as a military wife has added another unique layer to our family life. We've experienced deployments, which are incredibly tough. I remember planning a 'Welcome Home' surprise for my husband after his 394-day absence – that was a truly emotional reunion. It teaches you resilience and how to build a strong support system even when your partner is far away. It's a constant balancing act, but one that has taught me so much about strength and adaptability. While my primary role is being a stay-at-home mom, I also believe it's important to nurture my own interests. When the stars align and I get a moment to myself, you might find me unwinding by binge-watching TV shows I've saved up, or indulging in some creative crafting projects. My 'first twins,' our two light brown, curly-haired dogs, Walker and Wyatt, are always up for an adventure, so getting outdoors with them is a must whenever the Utah weather permits. I'm also really into gardening – there’s something incredibly therapeutic about watching things grow. And yes, I've totally jumped on the sourdough bandwagon; making fresh bread is a weekend ritual now! My dreams of traveling and exploring new places are always on my mind, even if it's just planning our next family road trip or a getaway to visit my family back in Alaska. Motherhood, especially with so many little ones, can feel isolating sometimes. That's why building this community means so much to me. Whether it's sharing tips for surviving nap strikes, laughing about the never-ending stream of questions, or just offering a virtual hug, I'm here for it. Let's keep sharing our honest stories and supporting each other through this incredible journey!
