Current fiction read!
I recently started reading again, like within the last few months, and have been hooked on Freida the whole time. I noticed with her books they start out like super slow, she adds lots of detail and filling which sometimes I feel isn’t necessary..? Maybe that’s just me being like “get to the point already”, but idk. Other than that, it picks up pretty fast by the end of the book. mid book, she gets told her dead father is still alive and it’s meant to throw you off to think maybe the dad is still alive, but you never hear anything else about him. He’s mentioned a few times, but as soon as she meets him, he’s no longer mentioned in the book. Not even in the end. )
