The blue top was chosen to evoke a sense of calm and approachability, much like her original color palette, but updated for a modern, human aesthetic. It's all about making those subtle connections that fans will recognize and appreciate. I also love incorporating little nods to her original pony form. For instance, while not explicitly shown in every redesign, thinking about her cutie mark, the butterflies, and how they could subtly influence accessories or background elements in a human context is fascinating. Maybe a delicate butterfly charm, or an olive green background that hints at her connection to nature, just like the image in this post. It’s these thoughtful details that elevate a redesign from just a simple drawing to a truly inspired reinterpretation.
