Is my hair curly?!😓

... Read moreUnderstanding the difference between curly and wavy hair can be challenging for many. Curly hair usually forms into distinct spirals or ringlets, while wavy hair has a more relaxed, 'S' shape pattern. There are specific characteristics that can help you identify your hair type. Curly hair tends to be drier due to the structure of the hair follicle, which makes it harder for natural oils to travel from the scalp down the strands. If your hair is curly, you might benefit from moisturizing products designed for curl definition and hydration. In contrast, wavy hair may require less intensive moisture but still benefits from lightweight products that can enhance and define the natural wave without weighing it down. Unlike curly hair, those with wavy hair may find their waves loose or undulating, and they can vary with humidity. If you're struggling to determine your hair type, consider the 'wash and go' method: wash your hair and allow it to air dry without using any products. Observing how your hair dries can give you a clearer idea of its natural texture. Furthermore, joining community forums like #CurlyHairJourney and #HairCareTips can provide you with personalized tips and product recommendations from others facing similar hair challenges. Embrace your natural texture and find a routine that celebrates your unique hair! Your journey is yours alone, and many have navigated similar hurdles.
