There’s so much material out there such as books and podcasts that seem relevant and helpful, but in reality, it’s not. Some get lost in theories, while others get fixated on stories that are entertaining, but not useful.
In Win, I share basic ideas about success —the fundamental truth that can help anyone increase their power and get closer to their version of success.
I’ve spent the past 15 years gathering this ideas and the past two years, organizing them into this book. These ideas helped me turn my life around from someone working for minimum wage at random jobs, to working at big tech companies and owning and running my own companies.
The premise is simple: first, there are laws that govern success that we must respect and understand if we want to achieve anything meaningful. Second, they are certain behaviors that successful people have exhibited. If we learn them and live by them, we can enhance our chances of winning.
I discussed these laws and behaviors and provide actionable steps without getting lost in theories or useless stories.

But through years of experience and deep dives into what truly makes people 'win,' I discovered that it’s not magic—it's about understanding fundamental principles and cultivating specific behaviors. The book, 'Win: The Laws and Principles of Enduring Success,' truly opened my eyes to this. It's not just about getting 'for the win' in one instance, but building a life where winning becomes a consistent outcome, a habit, a mindset.
One of the biggest shifts for me was embracing the power of positive thinking, not as a fluffy concept, but as a deliberate and actionable strategy. It's not about ignoring challenges, but about how you frame them. When faced with setbacks, instead of dwelling on what went wrong, I learned to ask: 'What can I learn from this? How can I pivot?' This isn't just wishful thinking; it's a core behavior of enduringly successful people. It's about training your mind to seek solutions and opportunities, even when things look bleak. For instance, I used to get incredibly discouraged by rejection letters or failed projects. Now, I see them as valuable data points, an opportunity to refine my approach or explore a different path. This positive reframing, as highlighted in the principles of 'Win,' fuels incredible resilience.
Think about those moments where you desperately want to achieve something, where it feels like you're fighting for your 'ultimate victory' moment—that breakthrough, that ultimate achievement, much like a character fighting for their greatest triumph. Whether it's a career goal, a personal challenge, or a creative endeavor, the journey often feels like an epic quest. What I've learned, and what the book 'Win' masterfully distills, is that these victories aren't random. They're the result of consistently applying certain 'laws' of success. These include things like unwavering discipline, strategic planning, continuous learning, and yes, that powerful positive outlook. It’s about showing up every day, even when you don’t feel like it, and trusting the process. It's about understanding that every small step, every minor 'win,' builds towards the larger, more significant triumph you're striving for. For example, when I was struggling to start my own company, the sheer volume of tasks felt overwhelming. But breaking it down into daily 'wins' – making one cold call, refining one marketing message, learning one new skill – transformed the daunting into the achievable.
I used to chase quick fixes and flashy strategies, but they never led to lasting change. It was only when I started to truly understand and live by these fundamental laws and principles—the ones that guide enduring success—that I began to see a real transformation. It's about building a solid foundation, much like understanding the physics behind flight before attempting to soar. These aren't just theories; they're practical blueprints for anyone looking to not just win, but to consistently thrive and redefine what 'for the win' means in their own life. It’s about creating your own blueprint for enduring success, not just hoping for it.
