Hi friends!! Oh my goodness it’s been so long since I’ve talked to you guys!
My New York travel post gets so much engagement lol it makes me want to go back just to try again. Maybe I will but we’ll see.
If I stay consistent I hope my healing and divorce trauma will gain more traction too. But anyway…
He never filed the divorce and he has a gf that has 2 kids he’s been living with 🤷🏾♀️
He came to get our kids and take the older cousins to the park. He mentioned the mom will come too and meet him there. I asked what’s the nature of their relationship and the way he gaslit tf out of me is insane honestly.
He told me there’s nothing going on and it’s none of my business or concern what he does in his personal life. Probably 2 weeks later he came clean and told me they live together and “out of respect” for me that’s why our kids haven’t been able to spend the night there.
He asked if I wanted to meet her.. I said no.
Idk if or when I would ever be ready to meet the woman who has openly engaged with a MARRIED MAN to the point of living together and never mentioning anything to me. And up until this particular conversation I was really holding off on hope we could fix things. I never thought this would be my life. Never!
But honestly therapy and being in my own space has saved me.
I’m a lot more calm, cool and collected than what I thought I was going to be tbh…
But I do plan on continuing therapy. I haven’t dated, had sex or entertained anyone and he just starts a new family.

Accepting that it is okay to feel hurt and betrayed is a significant step toward healing. Setting boundaries with an ex-partner while navigating co-parenting can also be challenging, especially when new relationships are introduced. It’s essential to prioritize the well-being of your children while also taking care of your own emotional health.
