It's easy to feel disheartened when a door closes in our lives. We might have had our hearts set on a particular path, a specific opportunity, or a dream we’ve nurtured for so long. In those moments of disappointment, it's natural to question why things didn't work out the way we envisioned. I’ve certainly been there, feeling confused and wondering what went wrong. But over time, I've come to realize a profound truth that has completely changed my perspective: sometimes, those closed doors are truly blessings in disguise. My journey has taught me to see these moments not as failures, but as divine redirections. It's like the universe, or more specifically, God, is gently, or sometimes not so gently, nudging us onto a better, more suitable path. I often reflect on the phrase, “Thank You for the doors You've closed and the paths You've redirected.” It perfectly encapsulates this feeling. It’s not about being denied something good, but about being led to something even better, something aligned with our true purpose and calling. Witnessing what God has done for others has also been a huge source of encouragement for me. When I see friends or people I admire navigate difficult situations, only to emerge stronger and in a place far more aligned with their true selves, it reinforces my own faith. It makes me think, “Lord, I've seen what You've done for others, and I believe You can do the same for me.” These stories are powerful reminders that divine guidance is always at play, even when we can't see the full picture. Looking back, many of the “opportunities I didn't get” were actually pivotal moments that led to unexpected blessings. Each perceived setback was a lesson gained along the way, shaping my character and preparing me for what was truly meant for me. Every step, even the ones that felt like detours, has genuinely guided me to the exact place I’ve been called to be. It’s a humbling realization when you connect the dots backward and see the intricate tapestry of God's plan unfolding. Trusting this plan, especially when it doesn’t make immediate sense, is probably the hardest part. It requires a deep surrender and a belief that there's a higher wisdom at work. There are times when I've felt lost, unsure of the next step, but remembering to lean on that faith has always brought peace. When we let go of our need to control every outcome, we open ourselves up to the incredible possibilities that divine guidance offers. It's about letting God lead the way, even into the unknown. So today, I stand truly grateful for all the blessings and guidance, even for the closed doors. They have been instrumental in redirecting my steps and leading me to a place of greater peace, purpose, and understanding. It's a continuous journey of faith, but knowing that I am being led by a loving hand makes every twist and turn worthwhile. In Jesus' name, amen.
