GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
Putting my FATHER BEFORE ANYTHING IN 2025!!!
🙏🏻🩶
It’s easy to feel a sense of 'entsetzten' – a deep apprehension or dismay – when we look at the world around us or face personal challenges. There are moments when everything feels overwhelming, when the news is bleak, or when our own lives seem to unravel. It's in these times that many of us, myself included, find ourselves seeking something more profound, a solid anchor to hold onto. This is precisely why my focus for 2025, and truly for every day, is to put God first in everything. I've learned that this isn't just a religious platitude; it's a transformative way of living. When I reflect on what truly matters, it’s not fleeting achievements or material possessions, but the unwavering presence and guidance of a higher power. This journey often begins with a stirring in the soul, a realization that there must be a deeper purpose beyond the everyday anxieties that can leave us feeling so unsettled. I remember one particularly challenging period, sitting quietly in a church pew, much like the one you might see in a serene photograph. The silence was profound, but my mind was anything but. I was grappling with feelings of helplessness, truly 'entsetzt' by circumstances beyond my control. It was then that a sense of calm began to wash over me, a gentle reminder that I wasn't alone. It was a call to surrender, to trust, and to place my burdens at a higher altar. Opening up my Bible, much like seeing those ancient pages turned to German text from Acts 2, often brings me immense comfort. Acts 2, for instance, speaks of a profound spiritual awakening, an almost overwhelming conviction that led people to ask, 'What shall we do?' It’s a powerful testament to how deeply spiritual truths can pierce our hearts and prompt us to re-evaluate our priorities. For me, these scriptures are not just historical texts but living words that speak directly to my soul, providing answers and reassurance when I feel lost or dismayed. The simple act of holding a rosary, feeling the smooth beads and the weight of the crucifix, can be incredibly grounding. It’s a physical reminder of constant prayer and connection, a tangible anchor in turbulent times. It signifies a commitment, a belief that through consistent devotion, we can navigate the very things that might otherwise leave us feeling 'entsetzt.' So, what does 'putting God first' actually look like in daily life? It means starting each day with prayer, seeking guidance before making decisions, and striving to live by principles of kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. It means dedicating time for spiritual reflection, whether it’s reading scripture, meditating, or simply being present in moments of quiet contemplation. It's about consciously inviting that divine presence into every aspect of my life, from work to relationships, allowing faith to shape my reactions and responses. This commitment isn't about perfection; it's about direction. It's about re-centering when things go awry, about finding strength not in my own limited capabilities, but in an infinite source. It's a journey that continually helps me move from feelings of dismay and uncertainty to a place of peace, purpose, and unwavering devotion. If you, too, have felt 'entsetzt' by life's challenges, perhaps this perspective resonates with you. Finding your own way to put God first can truly transform your outlook, offering a profound sense of hope and stability.
