I absolutely needed this reminder today, and I wanted to share why it resonated so deeply with me, especially as we navigate through March. Sometimes, life throws so many challenges our way that it's easy to get caught up in fear and worry. But as my March 9th devotional calendar reminded me, fear often stems from being self-focused. It's when we start to think too much about our own struggles, our own limitations, and what we can't do. This simple message, rooted in Philippians 2:3, about love being others-focused, truly shifted my perspective. It's not about ignoring our feelings, but about intentionally redirecting our gaze. When I started looking for positive March month quotes and powerful March affirmations, I realized how much strength comes from biblical truths. Instead of dwelling on what scares me, I'm trying to embrace 'I Am' affirmations from the Bible, reminding myself of God's promises and who He says I am. For anyone looking for a boost, here are some 'I Am' affirmations from the Bible that have been helping me combat fear and embrace faith this month: I am strong in the Lord and in His mighty power (Ephesians 6:10). I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me (Romans 8:37). I am able to do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). I am not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). These positive March affirmations help me recenter. And for those moments when words just aren't enough, a heartfelt March break prayer can make all the difference. Here’s a simple prayer I've been using: *Dear God, thank You for this new day and this month of March. Help me to lay down my fears and worries at Your feet. Guide my heart to be less self-focused and more others-focused, filled with Your love. Strengthen me with Your truth and remind me of who I am in You. Amen.* It’s amazing how much life changes when we take the focus off ourselves and put our focus on God. This devotional message on March 9th truly was a reminder to sit down, listen, and let peace flood my soul. I hope these thoughts and affirmations can bring you some comfort and strength too as you navigate your own faith journey this March!
