As you might know, I'm Alexya, and I'm genuinely excited to connect with you all and share a little more about what makes me, well, *me*! You might have seen that I'm a 'Coffee addict,' and honestly, it's more than just a label – it's a daily ritual. There's something incredibly comforting about that first warm mug in the morning, fueling my day as a 'College Student.' Whether I'm cramming for exams or working on a new project, coffee is my trusty companion. I love experimenting with different brews, from a strong espresso to a creamy latte, and I can't wait to share some of my favorite coffee shop finds and home-brew tips with you all. It really helps me embrace my 'go with the flow' philosophy, allowing me to tackle whatever the day brings with a clear, caffeinated mind! Beyond the books and the caffeine, a huge part of my life is being a 'Daily Gardener.' There’s a certain magic in nurturing something from a tiny seed into a thriving plant. My brown eyes light up when I see new sprouts! I started gardening a few years ago as a way to de-stress and connect with nature, and it quickly became a passion. From vibrant sunflowers – perhaps influenced by my love for 'the color yellow' – to fresh herbs and veggies, my little garden patch is my sanctuary. I'm hoping to share my gardening journey, some easy plant care tips for beginners, and maybe even some delicious recipes using my homegrown produce right here on Lemon8. Being a 'College Student' is a whole adventure in itself. It’s a time of learning, growth, and figuring out 'Who am I' beyond the textbooks. Balancing classes, social life, and personal passions can be a lot, but I truly believe in finding joy in the small moments. My 'go with the flow' attitude helps me navigate the ups and downs, reminding me that not everything has to be perfect, and it’s okay to adapt. I'm currently studying something that allows me to explore my creativity and analytical side, and I'm always looking for creative ways to make learning fun and engaging. You’ll find pops of yellow everywhere in my life, from my outfits to my home decor, and of course, in my garden. It’s a constant reminder to stay positive and find the sunshine, even on cloudy days.
