This book was a little tough for me to get through to be honest. It took about a month to finish because it just did not grab my attention. The beginning was great and the ending was amazing but this book was just not it for me.
It is definitely a slow burn and I do love the multiple point of view, but the amount of just non-communication from both of them was annoying to me. I do like the fantasy, old-timey, feel of this book, though!
It was definitely a good “filler” book, but it definitely was not my favorite.
