Shedding the Year of the Snake, Entering the Year of the Horse
I shed the year of the snake without apology.
Skin by skin.
Old versions loosened their grip—
the quiet endurance, the coiled patience,
the art of surviving in silence.
The snake taught me how to sense danger,
how to listen beneath the noise,
how to release what no longer fits.
But I was never meant to stay coiled.
Now I enter the year of the horse—
fire-backed and untamed.
I move forward instead of inward.
I choose motion over vigilance,
truth over tolerance.
The horse does not ask permission.
It runs with its chest open,
its power visible,
its freedom non-negotiable.
I carry the wisdom of the snake in my bones,
but I ride with the spirit of the horse in my blood.
What once wrapped around my wrist
now becomes fuel beneath my feet.
This is not a rebirth.
It is a remembering.
I am no longer shedding to survive—
I am running to become.
release what I’ve outgrown without guilt.
I honor the wisdom I’ve earned without staying small.
I move forward with fire in my chest and freedom in my stride.
I am no longer coiled in survival—
I am in motion, embodied, untamed.
I trust my instincts.
I choose momentum.
I run toward what is meant for me.
This is my season of power, truth, and becoming.
