Komatsu Nana🤍🌸 aka Ichinose Nana✨
I’ll be making a spread of the two Nana’s sometime in the future! Might color the sketches

I’ve been completely captivated by the world of the NANA anime lately, especially the character of Nana Komatsu, affectionately known as Hachi by so many of us! I just had to try my hand at sketching her, and I'm really happy with how this traditional pencil sketch turned out. Capturing her unique essence, from her large expressive eyes to her signature hair styled in a bun, was a truly rewarding experience. Her aesthetic is just so iconic, isn't it? Whether it's her distinct fashion choices – like that simple white sleeveless top – or the incredibly relatable and often turbulent emotional journey she undergoes, Hachi truly embodies a unique blend of vulnerability and resilience. I consistently find myself drawn into her story and how she navigates the complexities of love, friendship, and self-discovery. It's those profound emotional scenes that truly resonate and make her character so deeply human and unforgettable. For me, creating fan art like this isn't just about putting lines on paper; it's about forging a deeper connection with the characters. I'm actually planning to create a much larger spread featuring both Nana Komatsu and Nana Osaki. Their contrasting personalities and intertwined fates are, in my opinion, what makes NANA such an enduring masterpiece. I'm eager to capture that intricate dynamic in my next piece, exploring their relationship through my art. Many fans actively seek out 'NANA icons' or 'anime aesthetic' inspiration, and Hachi definitely provides an endless source. Her outfits, her nuanced expressions, even the subtle way she carries herself – it all contributes to her unforgettable presence. I believe that’s why she resonates so deeply with people, inspiring countless fan art pieces and aesthetic mood boards across the community. It’s not just about her visual appeal; it’s about the profound feelings and experiences she evokes in viewers. If you're also a devoted fan of *NANA*, you understand just how impactful her journey is. From her early days as Ichinose Nana to evolving into the Hachi we all know and love, her character's growth is incredibly compelling. I'm always searching for new ways to bring these beloved anime characters to life through my art, and she was certainly a fascinating challenge. What are your favorite Hachi moments or signature outfits? I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts as I begin planning my next artwork!
