Home 🏡 Press often, break fast, right?
Many people use the iPad and secretly worry, "Press the Home button, scan the finger often, will it break quickly?" 🤔 Actually, don't worry that much!
The Home (Touch ID) button is designed to support hundreds of thousands to millions of presses. Regular uses such as pressing in, out of apps, or unlocking machines do not break down as easily as you think. 💡
But what to watch is to "press too hard" or use wet / dusty hands, because it can cause the button to degrade faster and the finger to scan inaccurately, including years of heavy use, is also a factor.
จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่ใช้งาน iPad มานาน ปุ่ม Home หรือ Touch ID นั้นถูกออกแบบมาให้ทนทานต่อการใช้งานปกติจริง ๆ ครับ ผมไม่เคยมีปัญหาปุ่มพังหรือล็อกสแกนนิ้วไม่ได้เพราะกดบ่อยเลย แต่สิ่งหนึ่งที่ต้องระวังคือเวลามือเปียกหรือมีฝุ่น เพราะมันทำให้การสแกนนิ้วอาจไม่แม่นยำ และถ้ากดแรงมากเกินไปก็อาจส่งผลให้กลไกของปุ่มเสื่อมเร็วขึ้นได้ ผมแนะนำให้ใช้ตามความรู้สึกกดปกติ ไม่จำเป็นต้องกดแรง และหมั่นเช็ดทำความสะอาดปุ่ม Home และนิ้วมือก่อนใช้งาน เพื่อป้องกันฝุ่นและคราบเหงื่อสะสม นอกจากนี้ถ้าคุณเป็นคนที่ใช้ iPad หนัก ๆ ต่อเนื่องทุกวันเป็นเวลานานๆ ก็ควรลองเปลี่ยนไปใช้ทางลัดอื่น เช่น สแกนนิ้วบนปุ่มด้านข้างหรือใช้ Face ID ถ้าอุปกรณ์รองรับ เพื่อช่วยลดแรงกดซ้ำ ๆ ที่ปุ่ม Home สุดท้าย การดูแลรักษาและใช้งานอย่างใจเย็น จะช่วยให้ปุ่ม Home ของคุณทำงานได้นานและมีประสิทธิภาพอย่างที่ Apple ออกแบบไว้ได้จริง ๆ ครับ
