Jumbo Carebears?!

I didn't know they made these. I had the smaller ones growing up, but I didn't know they had these. Where can I get one?? The girl on the TikTok I saw said she found it at a thrift store, but I don't wanna go on eBay and pay way more than what it's worth. #carebears #letschat #carebearplushy #friendshipbear

... Read moreOh my goodness, I totally get the excitement about jumbo Care Bears! When I first saw a picture of that large, orange Care Bear plush toy featuring two yellow smiling flowers on its belly, my jaw dropped. It's like a blast from the past but supersized! The smaller ones were iconic, but these giant versions are truly collector's dreams. My own quest began after seeing a friend post about their thrift store find, and ever since, I've been on the lookout. Finding these treasures can be a real adventure. While the idea of scoring one at a thrift store, like the orange Care Bear with flowers I saw, is amazing, they're often a lucky find. For those actively searching, it's worth checking out major retailers known for seasonal or exclusive plush releases. I've heard whispers of Care Bears at Costco at different times of the year, especially around holidays, so keeping an eye on their toy section or even their website could pay off. Stores like Target, Walmart, and even discount stores like Five Below sometimes surprise us with large plush toys, so don't overlook them! When it comes to the online hunt, it's easy to get discouraged by high prices on sites like eBay. I'm definitely with you on avoiding paying way more than something is worth! However, there are other online marketplaces like Poshmark or Mercari where sellers might list items at more reasonable prices, especially if they're not aware of the true collector value. Sometimes you can even find local pickup options there. For serious collectors and those wanting tips, diving into online communities can be a game-changer. Places like Care Bears Reddit forums (r/CareBears is a great spot!) or dedicated Facebook groups are goldmines for information. People often share their latest finds, discuss where to buy, and sometimes even list items for sale or trade directly with other fans. It's a fantastic way to connect with others who share your passion for these adorable bears and get real-time advice on where to snag that giant Care Bear. Beyond the plushies, if you're like me and love all things jumbo Care Bear, there are other fun finds too. While I'm focused on bringing home a plush, I've seen some cool Care Bears jumbo coloring and activity books that are also a nostalgic trip. It just goes to show how much love there is for these characters in all forms! So, if you're on the hunt for your own large, orange Care Bear plush toy or any other jumbo friend, remember to check a variety of places, both in-person and online. Happy hunting, and please, share your success stories or any secret spots you've found! We collectors need to stick together!

I didn't know they made big Care Bears like these. I am surprised. I don't know where you could find these Care Bears.

The only jumbo one I ever got was from my father. I was “lucky” to see him like once a year because he had a smug (iykyk) addiction. He gave me a rainy day bear. Ironically his nickname for my mom was kare bear… it kinda gives me the ick thinking abt it. But I hold onto it because I loved carebears.
