... Read moreEaster this year looked a little different from what I had initially imagined, but that was exactly the point. Instead of striving for a flawless celebration, I focused on what truly matters—the heart and the choice to embrace faith. The phrase "It's about your heart" really resonated with me, reminding me that imperfections in our celebrations don’t diminish their significance. I found myself thinking about the power behind choosing Him despite the chaos and imperfections surrounding us. This intentional approach made the day deeply fulfilling, reinforcing that faith isn’t about having a perfect setting but about trusting the Resurrection story in our daily lives. Being a mom added layers to this experience, as balancing family realities with personal faith can be challenging yet rewarding. I embraced the #MomLifeReal spirit—acknowledging that sometimes Easter may not be picture-perfect, and that’s okay. What counts is the love, the acknowledgment of sacrifice, and living out those values. It reminded me that traditions and celebrations evolve, and it’s in those authentic moments that we connect more deeply with our beliefs. Sharing this perspective felt healing, especially during uncertain times, and I encourage anyone feeling pressured to create 'ideal' holidays to lean into intentional faith instead. That choice truly holds the power to transform any day into a meaningful resurrection of hope and gratitude.
