When we were kids, we were with our great-grandmother.
The great-grandfather's house is a real provincial house. The bathroom is separate from the house, about 50 meters away, made of cement and zinc, even older, and not very close. Very afraid of tetanus.
On the day of the incident, we went down to take a bath as usual, there was a light box above, there was a shadow of a passerby, but we were still children, so we didn't think anything. Hurry and draw water in the shower jar.

We saw a shadow of a man standing on top... looking at us from that light channel and knowing that he had climbed the paint tank.

หลายคนเห็นคำว่า “ห้องน้ำสังกะสี” อาจนึกถึงความคลาสสิกแบบบ้านต่างจังหวัด หรือกำลังหาไอเดียทำห้องส้วมสังกะสีแบบประหยัด แต่จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว (และจากเรื่องที่เราเจอ) เราว่ามีจุดที่ควรเช็กให้รอบก่อนใช้งาน/ก่อนรีโนเวต โดยเฉพาะห้องน้ำที่แยกจากตัวบ้านและมี “ช่องแสงทะลุ” หรือช่องระบายอากาศโล่ง ๆ 1) จุดเสี่ยงของห้องน้ำสังกะสีที่คนมองข้าม - ช่องแสง/ช่องลมสูง ๆ: ถ้าสามารถปีนขึ้นไปมองได้ (เช่น มีถังสี ลัง หรือของวางพาด) ให้ถือว่าเสี่ยงทันที ควรย้ายของที่ปีนได้ออก และติดตะแกรง/ระแนงบังสายตา - ประตู/กลอนเก่า: ห้องส้วมสังกะสีหลายที่กลอนหลวม ปิดไม่สนิท แนะนำเปลี่ยนกลอนเป็นแบบสแตนเลส และเสริม “สลักด้านใน” ที่ล็อกได้จริง - ผนังสังกะสี/อิฐบล็อกมีช่อง: ถ้าเป็นผนังก่ออิฐบล็อกที่มีรูระบายอากาศ ให้บุแผ่นตะแกรงถี่ด้านใน หรือเพิ่มแผ่นบังระดับสายตา เพื่อไม่ให้เกิดมุมที่คนมองเข้ามาได้ 2) ถ้าจะทำ/ซ่อมด้วยงบประหยัด (แนวคิดงบประมาณเล็ก ๆ) ถ้าใครกำลังวางแผนทำห้องน้ำสังกะสีแบบประหยัด งบไม่มาก สิ่งที่เราอยากให้ “กันงบไว้ก่อน” คือความปลอดภัย: กลอนประตูดี ๆ, ไฟส่องสว่างรอบทางเดิน, ตะแกรงบังช่องแสง และเซนเซอร์ไฟ/ไฟโซลาร์เซลล์หน้าห้องน้ำ เพราะของพวกนี้ช่วยลดความเสี่ยงได้จริงมากกว่าการแต่งสวยอย่างเดียว 3) ไอเดียทำให้ “ใช้งานได้สบายใจ” มากขึ้น - ติดไฟทางเดินจากบ้านไปห้องน้ำ (สำคัญมากถ้าต้องเดินประมาณ 30–50 เมตร) - ทำผนังทึบช่วงอกถึงหัว หรือเพิ่มฉากกั้นด้านใน - ถ้าต้องมีช่องแสง ให้หันไปทิศที่ไม่มีคนเดินผ่าน และทำเป็นช่องแสงแบบเฉียง/บล็อกแก้วทึบ 4) ถ้าเคยเจอเหตุการณ์ไม่ปลอดภัย ความรู้สึกช็อก เงียบ ไม่กล้าบอกใคร เป็นเรื่องที่เกิดขึ้นได้จริง โดยเฉพาะตอนยังเด็ก ถ้าวันนี้คุณยังต้องกลับไปบ้านเดิม/ต้องใช้ห้องน้ำเก่า ๆ ลองเริ่มจากบอกคนที่ไว้ใจได้ 1 คน ว่าคุณไม่สบายใจกับ “ห้องน้ำสังกะสี/ห้องส้วมสังกะสี” ตรงจุดไหน แล้วช่วยกันแก้ที่โครงสร้างก่อน เพื่อให้พื้นที่นั้นกลับมาเป็นพื้นที่ที่เราควรปลอดภัยที่สุด สุดท้ายนี้ ไม่ว่าห้องน้ำจะเก่าหรือประหยัดแค่ไหน เราว่ามาตรฐานขั้นต่ำคือ “ต้องป้องกันการมองเห็นจากด้านนอก” ได้จริง ถ้าใครมีไอเดียรีโนเวตห้องน้ำสังกะสี หรือเคยเจอห้องน้ำต่างจังหวัดที่มีช่องแสงทะลุแบบนี้ มาแชร์กันได้นะคะ
