Dear Lemon8,
Today I was feeling a little Spring Cleany! I Wanted to take you on a little walk through on how I clean my car.
𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑝 1：I usually take all mats out first, then vacuum, but I got my car detailed last week so my carpet was still very clean.
I rinse mats with water hose, then shine them!
𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑝 2：Clear out all of the compartments! I don’t usually like this step so I always want to skip it! DO NOT AVOID THIS STEP or you will not be satisfied with the cleanliness! It’ll be worth it! I promise! 💕
𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑝 3：Put back only things you need!! I like to put so many things in my compartments and I end up losing everything because I didn’t really need it in there in the first place.. lol.
𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑝 4：Wipe all areas and seats! The reason this is my favorite part is because you don’t notice how dirty the interior actually is until you wipe. Once everything starts to shine it just brings me happiness.
𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑝 5: Restock time! If you don’t store anything in your car then skip this step. I HAVE TO keep certain things in my car because I have 5 kids and their ages range from 4-16. I stock up on meds.. especially for on-the-go purposes. Having a large family means someone always has a tummy ache, allergies, migraine, or a cold. The complaints are never ending LOL.. Gotta love it 💕
If you store snacks, then go for it! I’d love to do that but I live in South Texas, trust me, the snacks won’t look like snacks the next day.
𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑝 6: Make it smell GOOD! I love to use the Febreze Downy because it just smells clean! But go ahead and use what makes you happy. Buy some Little Trees, vent scents or those air freshener bombs. Anything to make you feel good after all that work. I love getting into my car when it’s clean and smells AMAZING!
