Children don’t stop talking because they don’t love you.

They stop talking when they don’t feel emotionally safe.

Emotional safety—not control—is what builds trust.

Most parents were never taught this.

My ebook teaches parents how to build connection, trust, and emotional security with their children.

Learn how to become your child’s safe place. Ebook in bio.🤍

... Read moreFrom personal experience, I’ve noticed that the key to maintaining open communication with children isn’t about strict rules or control but about creating a sense of emotional security. When children feel heard and know they won’t be judged or punished for their feelings, they open up more naturally. It’s important to recognize verbal and non-verbal cues that indicate when a child feels unsafe emotionally. These can include withdrawal, sudden silence, or reluctance to share thoughts. Instead of pressing for answers, creating a calm, patient, and accepting environment can help rebuild trust. One effective approach is active listening: fully focusing on what your child says without interrupting or offering immediate solutions. Reflecting their feelings back to them helps validate their emotions and shows that you understand and care. Incorporating regular check-ins, like asking open-ended questions about their day or feelings, fosters ongoing dialogue. Also, modeling emotional expression by sharing your own feelings appropriately can encourage children to do the same. Remember, emotional safety isn’t about controlling children’s behavior but about assuring them they are valued and accepted. This foundation promotes stronger bonds and helps children feel secure enough to speak honestly and openly.

Adult Children Don’t Walk Away For No Reason
Children are biologically wired to love and attach to their parents — not cut them off. Most adult children don’t walk away because they’re “ungrateful.” They walk away after years of hurt, invalidation, toxic communication, emotional neglect, manipulation, boundary violations, or parents refusi

Children’s bikinis Shouldn’t be “sexy”
It’s so weird how nowadays parents want their little child to be so appealing. Crop tops, short shorts, and skimpy bikinis!!? It’s just unnecessary. Kids are suppose to be comfortable while showcasing their style, not wearing the hot new items for teens.. #momhottakes #lemon8challenge #kid
