3 Day Massachusetts Itinerary: Day 3 🏙️
It’s all just a bunch of Hocus Pocus 🐈⬛🖤🧙♀️🕸️🕷️
The holidays are over so I’m back to posting more of our Massachusetts travel diaries! Here’s the final installment with a change of scenery as we made our way up to Salem (a bucket list dream come true) for our last day there.
Slides 1-4: Being a MAJOR Halloween lover it was only fitting to see some of the landmarks where the iconic film Hocus Pocus was filmed! (It’s very fitting that the white house it the first two pics, is Allison’s house in the film, as I would love to live there 🤪) We also got to snap a pic with the Bewitched statue dedicated to another classic movie.
Slide 5: You MUST add checking out the Salem Witch Trials Memorial to your list if you visit, it was such a surreal experience. Gives me chills still thinking about the history of it all.
Slides 6-7: Essex St is known as Salem’s downtown district & is full of restaurants, historic homes, touristy attractions & of course many witch shops to check out!
Slide 8: Now the Witch Dungeon Museum may not be for everyone & that’s totally okay, but Ryan & I really enjoyed seeing a live reenactment of the 1692 witch trial along a tour through a dungeon replica!
Slide 9: For dinner we stopped at Longboards Restaurant & Bar & I finally got to have my lobster fix of the trip. Thanks to a fellow creator friend for the lobster grilled cheese rec - it’s definitely a 10/10!
Slide 10: We passed Moody's Home & Gifts on the way to dinner & I knew I wanted to stop here on our way back to grab a memento from our time here. We almost missed our train because I took too long in the store, but it was worth it hehe
Hope you enjoyed following along on our Massachusetts adventures, already starting to plan our next trip! 🦞
