The #1 boots you need this fall👢

These past few months Frye Campus boots have taken over my feed. As much as I loved the boots I just didn’t want to spend that much on shoes!

I found these Steve Madden Riggs boots that look almost identical to the Frye ones. These are less than the Frye ones but also still high quality & are genuine leather👢

Here is how I’m styling them for fall-

1. Eyelet/shorts: I don’t own any of the trendy lace shorts but tried to recreate the look with my eyelet shorts. I love any type of shorts paired with a long sleeve top that still gives off fall without being too hot🍂

2. Denim on denim: I love this look paired with the boots. It’s a simple look but so cute! I just got this jacket from H&M & love the dark wash & pockets🌟

3. Denim shorts: My favorite type of weather is being able to wear shorts & boots together- I added a brown leather belt that I felt tied in the look together perfectly🤎

... Read moreFinding the perfect pair of boots that combine style, quality, and affordability can feel like winning the lottery, especially when you've been dreaming of a specific high-end look! Like many of you, I adored the classic aesthetic of Frye Campus boots but just couldn't justify the price tag. That's why stumbling upon the Steve Madden Riggs boots felt like such a revelation – they're truly an incredible dupe. What really sets the Riggs apart, making them a fantastic alternative, is their genuine leather construction. You're not sacrificing on material quality for a lower price point, which is often the biggest concern with 'dupes.' The leather feels supple, not stiff, and has a lovely finish that mimics those pricier options beautifully. Plus, the light-colored leather boots I chose effortlessly complement so many outfits, adding that touch of rustic chic without looking cheap. It's truly impressive how Steve Madden maintained such a high standard of craftsmanship. Beyond just the look, comfort is key for any boot you plan to wear regularly. I found that the Riggs were comfortable right out of the box, with minimal breaking-in needed. They've got enough room to wear with thicker socks for cooler weather, without feeling bulky. For anyone wondering about sizing, I'd generally recommend sticking to your true size, but if you're often between sizes or have wider feet, consider going up a half size to be safe, especially if you plan on layering. Expanding on styling, these boots are surprisingly versatile. While the original post covered fantastic fall looks with eyelet shorts and denim-on-denim, I've also found them amazing for other occasions. Imagine them paired with a flowy midi dress and a light-colored cardigan for a bohemian vibe, or even with a tailored blazer over a simple tee and your favorite Levi's denim for a smart-casual ensemble. That blue denim button-up shirt I mentioned earlier? It looks fantastic tucked into a mini skirt with these boots! The blend of casual and polished makes them a go-to. I even snagged some great pieces from Princess Polly and H&M that just work with these boots, proving you don't need a huge budget to create stylish outfits. Lastly, a quick tip on caring for your genuine leather boots: a little maintenance goes a long way. To keep your Steve Madden Riggs looking their best, especially with the lighter leather, I recommend using a good leather conditioner periodically to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking. A waterproofing spray can also be a lifesaver, protecting them from unexpected rain or spills. And always store them properly, perhaps with boot shapers, to maintain their silhouette. Trust me, these boots are an investment in style that will serve you well through many seasons!
