Local gut healthy farmers market finds

Whenever possible, I try to pick up things from local farm stands. They usually have way more unique and healthy items than your typical grocery store. It is always fun to look around and see what is local to the area and the current season. I was up in Northern Michigan for a wedding and I found local unfiltered honey, which is great for our immune system and is a known super-food, as well as cranberry + pear balsamic vinegar, which is great for our gut health. I also eat a gluten-free diet which has severely increased the good bacteria in my gut and made my overall gut-health much better. Don't forget to always add in fresh fruits and veggies for added fiber! Choosing foods that are naturally anti-inflammatory make a huge difference in our overall health.
