It’s London Baby!
Highlights of my time in London!
I stayed in my friend’s apartment in Camdentown, which is a great location to be in. It’s a nicer area popular with young people so it has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants and nightlife. We spent a lot of our time in the Covent Garden area which is definitely geared towards tourists but because of that has a ton of good shows and museums and other attractions.
One thing that I didn’t mention in these pictures is the importance of pub culture in London. As soon as 5:00 hits, every pub in the city is completely packed with freshly off-work adults, and they tend to hang out for hours. Pubs are the social scene, and even as non-beer drinkers my friend and I spent a ton of time in them hanging out with a cider and experiencing the London culture. You cannot skip out on pubs when visiting London.
⭐️Overall rating: 4/5: London was more fun than I expected, but without my friends being there I think I would have liked it a lot less. It is absolutely huge and because of that lacks a lot of the charm and historical feel of many other European cities. I still think that it’s worth going for the cultural scene (theater, art, museums, etc).
