Stepping into 2024, one of my favorite traditions with my gal pals is our annual vision board night! It’s more than just a fun get-together; it’s a powerful way to set intentions and manifest our dreams for the year ahead. If you've ever wondered how to really kickstart your goals, I truly believe in the magic of a vision board. So, what exactly is a vision board? Think of it as a visual representation of your goals, dreams, and aspirations. It's a collage of images, words, and quotes that inspire you and remind you of what you want to achieve. For me, it's a constant source of motivation, a daily reminder to 'TRUST YOUR VISION' and always strive to 'be the best version of yourself.' Seeing my future laid out visually really helps keep me focused and excited, fostering that essential 'GROWTH MINDSET'. Getting started is super easy! You'll need some basic crafting supplies: a poster board (any size works!), scissors, glue (we love using Mod Podge for a smooth finish), and a stack of old magazines. Don't be afraid to also print out specific pictures or quotes from online that resonate deeply with you. The idea is to gather anything that sparks joy and represents your desired future. Last time, we had piles of magazines, and it was so much fun flipping through them, cutting out everything from dream travel destinations to images representing career success and a #healthylifestyle. When creating your board, don't overthink it too much. Just let your intuition guide you. What feelings do you want to evoke? What experiences do you want to have? What kind of person do you want to 'be the best version of yourself' as? Include images that represent your personal growth, financial goals, relationships, health, and anything else you want to 'INVEST YOURSELF' in. I always make sure to add words like 'GOOD DAYS AHEAD' and 'prosperity' to keep the vibe positive. Once your vision board is complete, the key is to place it somewhere you'll see it every single day. Mine hangs in my office, so I can glance at it while I'm working and be reminded of my overarching goals for the year. It’s not just about creating it; it’s about interacting with it and letting those aspirations sink in.
