Matthew 26:64

While it highlights Jesus' humanity, it also echoes the messianic figure in Daniel 7:13-14, who is given dominion, glory, and a kingdom that will never pass away. What I learned from this verse is that Jesus, even in His moment of apparent weakness and judgment before human authorities, never wavered in His claim to divinity and ultimate authority. He boldly proclaimed His future glory and judgment, turning the tables on His accusers. For us today, Matthew 26:64 offers immense hope and a clear understanding of who Jesus is – not just a historical figure, but the living, reigning Son of God who will return in power and glory. It's a reminder to live with anticipation and a firm belief in His promises.
