Still healing. Still here.
Healing is not a linear path, and it often requires a great deal of patience and self-love. I have personally found that reminding myself "You are not broken, you are becoming" shifts my mindset from frustration to acceptance. This transformation is a gradual process that calls for grace and softness with oneself, especially during difficult moments. In my experience, embracing the idea that healing takes time helps alleviate the pressure to 'fix' everything immediately. Each step, no matter how small, is a sign of progress and growth. Self-compassion practices, such as journaling or gentle affirmations, have been invaluable in nurturing this healing journey. Another important aspect is recognizing that healing doesn’t mean becoming perfect but rather becoming whole—as a blend of strength, vulnerability, and continuous evolution. Surrounding myself with supportive communities and seeking guidance when needed also created a safe space for honest reflection and renewal. Ultimately, being "still here" signifies resilience and honoring one's unique path. If you are healing, know that you are not alone, and the time you give yourself to grow is an investment in a more empowered version of yourself.
