Halloween is the perfect time to indulge in creative and festive treats, and these Trashy Brownies are no exception. To make these delightful brownies, start with your choice of refrigerated cookie dough as the base. Simply spread it in a baking dish and layer with Oreo cookies for added texture and flavor. Then, prepare the brownie mix as instructed on the box—usually requiring eggs, oil, and water. Pour this luscious mix over the cookie and Oreo layers. To enhance the spooky aesthetic, consider adding colorful sprinkles on top just before baking; this will give your brownies a fun and festive look. Bake according to the brownie mix instructions, keeping an eye on them to ensure they don’t overbake. Once out of the oven, allow them to cool slightly before cutting into squares. These brownies are not just a treat; they offer a delightful combination of flavors and textures that are sure to impress kids and adults alike. Feel free to personalize your Trashy Brownies! For instance, why not add some chopped nuts or even a drizzle of chocolate on top? You can also swap out Oreos for your favorite cookies or add mini marshmallows for an even more festive touch. Serve at Halloween parties, or gift them to friends and family to spread the seasonal joy.
