There’s no in between
Dressing styles often vary dramatically between vacation and everyday city life, and this contrast truly reflects how environment influences our fashion choices. On vacation, I tend to lean towards comfortable, relaxed clothing that is easy to move in — think breathable fabrics, loose fits, and bright or playful colors that suit a carefree vibe. This shift not only helps me unwind but also adapts to different climates and activities, whether it’s beach strolls or sightseeing tours. Conversely, when I’m in the city I live in, my wardrobe shifts towards more structured, polished, and functional pieces. City dressing often demands versatility and a certain level of sophistication—from smart casual looks for work or social events to practical outfits for errands. Layers become important, especially in unpredictable weather, and accessories like scarves or hats help complete the outfit without compromising comfort. This 'no in between' attitude toward dressing means I consciously curate two distinct wardrobes. It’s also a reflection of my mood and the different roles I inhabit in these spaces—vacation mode is about relaxation and creativity, city life requires readiness and style balance. Sharing this experience highlights how clothing is closely tied to our lifestyle and mindset, and emphasizes the importance of adapting style not only based on fashion trends but also our surroundings and daily routines.
