Soulmated so hard
I always aspired to be a mother who kept showing up at the gym. Now I get to actually do it!!
Does it look the same? Absolute not lol. I’m 10 weeks PP and baby wear my little guy so it’s mostly walking and very light weights. But honestly that’s all I feel I should be doing anyways! With time I’ll do more but for now I’m enjoying this season of life 🫶
Postpartum fitness is a vital topic for new mothers, as it emphasizes the importance of physical activity after childbirth. Engaging in family workouts not only strengthens physical fitness but also enhances family bonding. Many new mothers face challenges getting back to their pre-baby fitness routines, but focusing on light exercises like walking and baby-wearing can be beneficial. It's crucial to give your body time to heal after childbirth; around 10 weeks postpartum is a significant time to start integrating exercise into daily routines. Not every workout needs to be intense; a sustainable fitness journey involves gradual steps. Joining communities of other mothers on similar journeys provides motivation and support, creating a sense of belonging as well. By prioritizing self-care and nurturing your body, you can set an excellent example for your children about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Remember, every small effort counts in achieving your fitness goals while enjoying the beautiful moments of motherhood.
