How did I Started My Photography Business
As every business; starting a business is a challenge. I did had no experience.🤭
First of all, we started doing photos sessions at our apartment at that time. We were covering events such as weddings, sweet sixteen, baby showers, baptism and birthdays parties.
We invest in our first gear; camera, flash, tripods, lights, computers, programs, etc…
After a few months of growing little by little we moved to our first small studio with a little afraid. While my business and popularity was growing we invested in new and better gear. 3 years after we moved to a bigger studio. And that’s where we are now. Our plans is to moved to a bigger studio in 1 to 2 years.
Let me tell you something, when you start a business with $0 money is hard, but when you put effort and never give up doesn’t matter what happen during the process and you see where you were and where you are now is the most satisfying part. You know what cost you. Nothing is better than watching your dreams come true. ❤️🙏
By the way, I always say “we” because I did it with my husband 🤣
Starting a photography business can be an exciting yet daunting task. Many aspiring photographers begin their journey at home, offering services like portrait sessions and event photography. Invest in quality gear—cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing software are essential. Create a business plan that outlines your goals, target audience, and marketing strategy. Building a portfolio is crucial; showcase your best work online and engage with potential customers through social media. Networking is vital in this industry—attend workshops and collaborate with other creatives. Starting with a small studio allows you to gauge your success without major financial risks. As you grow, continuously upgrade your equipment and refine your skills through courses and practice. Remember, persistence pays off; the journey is tough but rewarding. Embrace feedback, learn from your experiences, and stay committed to your passion. Establishing a photography business requires dedication, creativity, and strategic planning, but the satisfaction of seeing your dreams come to life is unparalleled.
