Location 📍: Prang Luang Temple is a temple affiliated with the Buddhist Sangha. It is located in Ban Prang Luang, Bang Purple District, Bang Yai District, Nonthaburi Province. The temple holds its annual worship and gilding in June. It is the oldest temple in Bangkok and its perimeter.
History: Prang Luang Temple was built 1890, another source indicates it was built in 1890. In 1908, during the reign of King Rama I, the founder of Sriyutthaya, it is not clear who built it may be the king or the titular one, formerly known as the Royal Temple, believed that the King of Gold had evacuated people fleeing the plague to live in this area before returning to the Royal Thani in Sriyutthaya, until in the time of His Majesty, the Department of Chiryurosse and renamed it the "Royal Temple," presumably built a prang with a temple. The prang is located between the vault and the Little Temple, with seven layers of masonry, ten wooden blocks, with stucco patterns, four facades, and the statue of the Buddha. The prang is very broken. Today, this prang has a leaning appearance due to the soil.[1] There was drilling in the middle of the elemental house, and there was a cluster inside, but there was no channel to the top.
