Do I think it was better than some of the others I read by her such as Dear Debbie, The Intruder, and The Teacher? NO. Was it interesting? YES. It gave lifetime movie network 🤭
Nevertheless, I am left with a deeper appreciation for Freida McFadden’s creativity after finishing it. I thoroughly enjoyed this one as I finished it in under two days. I don’t know any other way to convince you to read it outside of I just couldn’t put it down. I was up into the wee hours of the morning needing to figure out how this story would end! Needless to say, I have experienced every emotion possible known to man — anger, sadness, confusion, anxiety, fear, and happiness. I must say.. the way that Freida was able to have me COMPLETELY switch sides on a character that I was rooting for HEAVILY throughout is a very skilled and underrated talented 🤯
