I am normally not a big fan of CoHo books but due to me having a movie date with my friends to see Verity this weekend I decided to read the book and tbh I was pleased. This book gave Freida McFadden but X RATED. This was spicy until it wasn’t and it was kinda sick 🥴 I only read a few chapters before I was googling what field of social work did Colleen Hoover do before she wrote books and I was not surprised to find out it was Child Protective Services. I only give this book 3.5 stars because I anticipated a bigger ending. The buildup was followed by such a drab ending in my opinion. But.. I look forward to seeing the movie this Friday!
