Don’t Wait Too Long to Learn This

Life doesn’t wait for you to figure it all out.

It doesn’t slow down while you wrestle with doubt, fear, or heartbreak.

And it doesn’t pause for you to learn what you should’ve known all along: you’re allowed to choose yourself.

Sometimes, the hardest decisions—the ones that break you—are the very ones that set you free.

And yes, it hurts. Yes, it’s terrifying. But you know what’s worse?

Sometimes I wished I left the relationship I was in as a teen. I’m married to him now, we have three beautiful kids but I have no support from him and I think that now I’m getting older I don’t know if I want to continue to live life this way. I hope my daughter new settles for someone like her dad.
