OMG, you guys, I'm buzzing with excitement! My GRWM for a trip is always a little chaotic but in the best way possible, especially when it's for something as fun as heading to LA to see my cousin Esme! Today, I focused on a comfy-chic travel outfit – think super soft layers, my favorite leggings, and easy-to-slip-on sneakers for the journey. A little natural makeup, curl my lashes, and I'm good to go! No need for anything too dramatic when you're going to be lounging with family, right? Of course, my loyal supervisor, Jasper, had to be there for every step of my getting-ready process. He's such a curious little furball! He loves watching me pack, probably wondering if he's coming along. Oh god, if only he could! Leaving him is always the hardest part, but I've made sure he's got plenty of food, fresh water, all his favorite toys, and extra cuddles from his pet sitter. He gave me that sassy cat look, almost like he was asking, 'Got a problem?' when I was heading out the door. Silly boy, I'll miss him like crazy! Packing for LA, I always try to think about versatility. What essentials do I really need? Sunscreen, definitely. A few cute outfits for different occasions – maybe a casual dress for brunch and something a bit dressier for an evening out. And for long drives, snacks are absolutely key! Speaking of snacks, I'm already craving some kulfi – maybe I'll find a delicious spot in LA to satisfy that craving! I always make a checklist to make sure I don't forget anything important, especially my chargers. You know how it is! I can't wait to catch up with Esme! We have so many fun things planned – maybe a beach day to soak up some California sun, trying out some new cafes with amazing vibes, and definitely a lot of late-night chats fueled by good food and even better company. It's been too long, and 'Girl...' I know she's thinking the same! We always have the best time together, making memories that last a lifetime. There’s something so special about family visits, especially when you get to explore a new city together. I'm so ready for this adventure and all the fun ahead with family and my furball (even if he's staying home!). I'll be sure to share more updates from my trip once I'm there.
