Happy Gotcha Day Anniversary Ziggy

6 years ago today we went to a shelter to meet a Rottweiler named Bubba and see if he would be a good companion for Jasmine. He wasn't classified as pet friendly anymore. So we looked at the other dogs. Just inside the second 2nd room of kennels, very first one was a dog with silly ears that had a flyer stating he would shake for treats and loved hot dogs. That was Ziggy. He was full of love and energy. We went and got Jasmine so they could be introduced on neutral territory and they got along well enough that we brought Ziggy home. He taught Jasmine how to bark at everything. He helped with her separation anxiety and being calm in the kennel when we weren't home. They would look towards each other when they were unsure of a situation. Sure, there were moments he would do what all little brothers do and annoy her to the point she put him in his place, but they loved each other. This marks his first Gotcha Day without her. We wanted it to be extra special and have another pup over. so my inlaws brought Isaac over. They had a fun time.
