Bringing home two Neva Masquerade brothers, Kite and Killua, has been an absolute joy and a unique experience I love to share! These stunning cats, now 1 year and 3 months old, each have their own distinct personalities that make every day special. Let's start with Kite. He's truly a big cuddler, always seeking out attention and offering the sweetest purrs. He's decently vocal, often chatting with me throughout the day, and absolutely thrives on love. If I’m home, he’s never far, literally always by my side at night. It's the best feeling when he’s the first to greet me when I come home, weaving between my legs with happy meows. He's just a big ball of love, and his favorite treat, a Tiki Cat wet stick, is the easiest way to earn his instant affection. It's funny how such a simple thing can bring so much joy to him, and to me watching him enjoy it! Then there's Killua, who is also a sweetie, but with a different flair. He can be a bit stand-offish at times, and sometimes prefers to be alone, observing from a distance. However, don't let his independent streak fool you; he's also pretty big on pets and love when he decides it’s time! He has a quirky habit of using his claws for everything by mistake, which means he doesn't always get a lot of love from strangers, but it's just his clumsy way of showing affection. What really gets Killua going? Catnip! He's absolutely obsessed with it, transforming from a serene observer to a playful, rolling ball of energy in seconds. It’s always a funny sight to behold. He can be so sassy with his expressions, often looking like he's judging my every move, and he's definitely always eating, making sure he's never left out during meal times! Despite their differences, the best part is seeing them as brothers always by each other's side. They truly are best friends. Watching them groom each other, chase toys together, or simply nap curled up in a sunbeam reminds me of the incredible bond pets can share. Having two cats means double the fun, double the purrs, and double the unique quirks that make them family. For anyone considering Neva Masquerades, or even just adding a second pet, understanding their individual needs and celebrating their distinct personalities is key. It's a journey filled with laughter, warmth, and endless affection. They've certainly enriched my life in countless ways, and I wouldn't trade their individual charms for anything.
